MISTER MIXMANIA
Blue Eyed Day is the project of Alexander Maltsev (also credited as 'Alex Malt' on SoundCloud) – songwriter, producer, arranger, singer and DJ. His DJ career began in nightclubs back in the late 1990s; over the years he has written and produced, by his own account, somewhere between 50 and 70 songs released in more than 16 countries, via label partners including PR Records Label Group (Sweden), Bryndak Records, G-Mafia Records (Brazil), CAP-Sounds (Germany), Play Records (Canada) and Blanco y Negro Music (Spain).
From 2009 Maltsev focused on a personal IT project before relaunching his music career in June 2019, after a seven-year break, with the Blue Eyed Day project. The first single, 'Maria! Milagro!', was released in Spanish in July 2019, followed by the English-language tracks 'Wheel of Life' and 'Life's Gonna Go My Way'. Further releases include 'My Fucking EDM Blues' (2020) and 'mY seXY lullabY' (2020), as well as the '#Sexonthebeach' and 'Mambo Rum'n'Roll' single series in several mix versions. Musically, Blue Eyed Day sits between pop, dance and indie dance with elements of EDM and house.
