Betty Davis ( 26. Juli 1945 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; eigentlich Betty Mabry) ist eine US-amerikanische Sängerin.
Sie stellte sich Miles Davis 1967 vor und heiratete ihn im September 1968. In dem einen Jahr ihrer Ehe stellte sie Miles Davis völlig auf den Kopf und machte ihn mit der Musik von Jimi Hendrix und Sly Stone bekannt. Diese Erfahrung führte zu Miles Davis' Bitches Brew. Betty Davis könnte somit als Initiatorin des Fusion bezeichnet werden.
1973 veröffentlichte sie ihr nach ihr selbst benanntes Debüt-Album, das nicht nur durch die Texte (Anti Love Song) und die Intensität des Funk beeindruckt, sondern auch durch die Liste der involvierten Musiker:
