Dorothee Oberlinger
Dorothee Oberlinger geb. am 2. September 1969 in Aachen, ist eine deutsche Blockflötistin, die hauptsächlich im Bereich Historische Aufführungspraxis aktiv ist.
Dorothee Oberlinger studierte zunächst an der Universität zu Köln die Fächer Schulmusik und Germanistik. Im Anschluss an das erste Staatsexamen schloss sie ein Blockflötenstudium in Köln, später in Amsterdam und Mailand an. Im Jahr 1997 errang sie beim internationalen Wettbewerb „Moeck“ UK/SRP in London den ersten Preis, 1998 gab sie in London ihr Solodebüt in der Wigmore Hall.
Als Solistin trat sie mit vielen international namhaften Ensembles und Barockorchestern wie beispielsweise den Sonatori de la Gioiosa Marca, Musica Antiqua Köln, der Academy of Ancient Music sowie verstärkt mit dem von ihr 2002 gegründeten Ensemble 1700 auf. Sie hat zahlreiche Aufnahmen eingespielt und erhielt hierfür mehrere Preise und Auszeichnungen, u. a. den Echo Klassik.
Dorothee Oberlinger ist seit 2004 Professorin an der Universität Mozarteum Salzburg und Leiterin des dortigen Instituts für Alte Musik.
