Wednesday war eine Berlin-basierte Band, die 1976 gegründet wurde und deren Debüt-Album von Frank Zander produziert wurde. Ihr zweites Album entstand in London, unter der Regie von Norman Ascot. Angeführt von Gary Gordon, bestand die Band noch aus Detlef Goy (vocals, bass), Chris Franklin (vocals, guitar), Frank Turba (vocals, keyboards), Joachim 'Hübi' Hübner (voc, drums, perc). 2003 fand sich die Formation für eine kurze Wiedervereinigung in Berlin zusammen. Soviel bekannt ist, konnte die Band jedoch aufgrund von gesundheitlichen Problemen nicht weiter arbeiten.
