Elvellon

In 2010 the founding members Pascal and Martin laid the foundation for what later should become Elvellon. The writing of the music was not a planned process but a natural one and at first was a undefined development from many sources of inspiration. After Martin met their soon-to-be singer Nele by sheer coincidence on a party in late summer of the same year the band was able to find their own musical way.
In 2012 they came to know Gilbert, who played in another Band from their hometown Moers named „Ravian“ with whom they just shared a rehearsal room. First he helped out the band by recording some demos and became a regular member on New Year’s Eve. Since then the band felt more complete than ever and the progression accelerated at a great pace. The main reasons for that were an extended period of hard working on new songs, a lyrical concept and suitable artwork.
An early outcome of this process was their very first concert, which they played in front of 250 people. The reactions were so overwhelming and numerous that Elvellon put all that gained motivation into their first CD. On the 18th of October 2013 they released the single „Oraculum“ via Bandcamp.com . A 5-Track EP named „Spellbound“ followed on the 30th of January 2015 as a digital release as well as CD.
Their first album “Until Dawn” will be released at 1st of June and is available as preorder now.

Die beiden Gründungsmitglieder Pascal und Martin legten bereits 2010 den Grundstein für das, was später Elvellon werden sollte. Die Entstehung der Musik war kein geplanter Prozess, sondern entwickelte sich natürlich und zunächst unbestimmt aus vielen Quellen und Inspirationen.

Erst nachdem Martin vielleicht zufällig oder doch schicksalhaft im Spätsommer selben Jahres die zukünftige Sängerin Nele auf einer Feier traf, war die Band in der Lage ihren eignen Weg zu finden.

2012 lernte man den Gitarristen Gilbert kennen, der in einer anderen Moerser Band namens „Ravian“ spielte, mit der man sich seit kurzem den Proberaum teilte. Er half der Band zunächst bei den ersten Demo Aufnahmen und wurde schließlich am Sylvester Abend festes Mitglied bei Elvellon. Seitdem fühlte man sich als Band komplett und die Entwicklungskurve ging beachtlich steile nach oben. Dies war vor allem einer intensiven Arbeitsphase an neuen Songs, einem lyrischen Konzept und einem passenden Artwork zu verdanken.

Ein erster Meilenstein dieses Fortgangs war ihr erstes Konzert in ihrer Heimatstadt Moers, welches sie vor 250 Leuten mit einem sehr hohen Maß an Professionalität meisterten. Die Reaktionen waren so positiv und zahlreich, dass die Band diese gewonnen Motivation direkt in die Arbeit an ihrer ersten CD steckte. So veröffentlichte die Band am 18. Oktober 2013 die Single „Oraculum“ via Bandcamp. Die EP “Spellbound” erschien am 30. Januar 2015.
Nach einem Vertrag mit Reaper Entertainment wird das erste Album “Until Dawn” am 01.06.2018 das Licht der Welt erblicken. Es ist bereits im Vorverkauf erhältlich.
