Kurt Vile (born in 1980) ist ein Us-Amerikanischer Musiker, Sänger, sowie auch Song-Schreiber aus Philadelphia, aufgewachsen in Lansdowne, Nähe der Stadt Philadelphia, (USA).
Seine Musik wurde mit der von Bruce Springsteen verglichen, seine Einflüsse im Allgemeinen sind Fleetwood Mac, John Fahey, Bob Dylan und FM Rock. Vile's erstes Album ist Childish Prodigy ,veröffentlicht von Matador Records.
